Great quick local pizza and attentive staff - one of the better pizza spots in a very busy location

Food: 4/5 | Service: 4.5/5 | Experience: 4/5 This corner restaurant is one of the few near the iconic Dumbo picture spot, serving up cheap yet tasty and filling pizzas, and in my case, sandwiches. I ordered the pastrami, swiss, coleslaw hero, however they were out of coleslaw, so I just asked for lettuce as a substitute. It did not take long for the sandwich to come out, and it was hot and hit the pastrami spot. There is such a generous portion of meat in such a large sandwich as well. There is plenty of seating inside, but there are a couple of tables outdoors as well.

I was on a short 3-day trip to New York and even though my schedule was jam packed I wasn't going to leave without having a slice of NY Pie. We were at the Dumbo Flea Market and didn't have plans for lunch. Front Street was nearby so we stopped in. I ordered a slice of cheese. I wasn't a fan of the top crust. It wasn't quite right to me, but the rest was great! The sauce, cheese, and bottom crust was spot on. It even folded like a traditional NY slice.

If find yourself on your way to DUMBO to take pics of the iconic Brooklyn Bridge and are hungry or just want to experience a quintessential Brooklyn pizza joint, then this place will fit the bill. We just finished taking our photos and we're on our way back to Manhattan. It was cold and we were hungry when we came across this place. Open since 1989, it's exactly what you'd expect a local pizza place to be. It's clean and unpretentious. Very warm and comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff. You can take your slice to go, but we decided to eat in. When you walk inside, you'll see all the pre made slices on display. You choose your slice, pay for it and find a seat. They'll call you when it's warmed up. We had the sausage, pepperoni and cheese on this visit and all slices were delicious and great value. There is a lot more on the menu including drinks, pastas and sandwiches, but most were eating pizza. If you're in the area and hungry, you would not be disappointed here.

Looking for a solidly good slice in Dumbo--Front Street Pizza is a good place to enjoy a variety of pizzas, sandwiches, and more. only had the pizza and it is classic NYC slice, thin firm crust, thin layer of sauce, and melty mozzarella cheese. had a pepperoni slice and a plain slice it's not amazing or the best but it's good when you need a casual spot to grab some eats. there is also beer by the fan if you need an adult beverage. there is a good amount of seating inside. the space is mostly clean. the interior can get a little messy when it's busy but other than that it's maintained well. staff is very New York but friendly enough. Front Street Pizza is near the Brooklyn Bridge as well as Manhattan Bridge--i actually inhaled my slices as i crossed the Manhattan Bridge. pizza calories + great view...what else could one want in life?!?
